Article: How Would Be the World If Cigarettes Didn't Exist?
Naive question, anyone would dismiss this as being a very generic question, the one of plain curiosity of no practical use, whatsoever. Okay but how would it be really, even if it ware to exist only in an utopian world where there are no things such as Marlboro, no Camel or the host of those internet-imported cheap cigarettes sold as discount cigarettes besides the absence of the big-brother brands such as Winston, Virginia Slims, Salem, Menthol, lm, 555, Benson & Hedges etc.

At the launching ceremony of the report at a city hotel, it was also revealed that more than 80 percent of the tobacco victims would die in the developing countries alone by 2030 if tobacco control programme is not augmented by this time.
Regulating Big Tobacco by washingtonpost.com
The best "alternative" to passing a bill to regulate Big Tobacco -- legislation that is very "imperfect" because so many concessions have been made to help overcome a threatened filibuster and veto -- is not to rush for passage now but to await the next Congress.
