Winston Cigarettes
R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company is the producer of the world famous Winston cigarettes. This cigarette was started in the year 1955 and from there, has grown to become one of the most popular cigarette brands in America. Winston cigarettes got its name from the town RJR is based, Winston of North Carolina.
Till today, Winston cigarettes are a famous cigarette brand in US. This success is greatly attributed to successful promotional events, its class of tobacco and the strong American strength it designates. The Winston One Cigarette was launched in 1999 in the eastern European market. It is named so for the one mg of tar that has an mg of nicotine in it. However the smokers here were not happy with the cigarette, it sales reduced and led to the discontinuation of the line in 2001.
